Antenatal consultation

As you eagerly await the arrival of your precious baby or babies, an antenatal consultation can help prepare you for the joys and demands of breastfeeding and parenthood.


We recommend booking around 34-36 weeks gestation, or earlier if you anticipate birthing prematurely.


You will also receive written and/or emailed breastfeeding information with reference to reputable websites for reference and reading material.

Antenatal preparation for breastfeeding including antenatal expressing of colostrum

How the breasts make milk
